So I was "Stumbling" and came across this great idea for decoration as well as
being useful.  This frame is a great solution if you have a great collection of
earrings or just want a cute decoration for your wall.  I have been needing a
place for my earrings and shall have to make my own version.

A New Year is About to Begin...

..and I have big craft plans for 2008. I have been seriously considering starting an Etsy store account.  I am a little sick of taking so much time on homemade gifts for people who don't end up appreciating them.  So I thought I might sell to people who will value what I make...not to mention I will be able to make some money as well :)...we will see how this goes.

...another project that seemed like a great idea was this scrapbook journal.

This is such a cute idea.  i have wanted to write in a journal as well as keep up with a scrapbook.
Thank you TracyU for your inspirational ideas :)

More Scrapbook News/Reminders:
- I would like to make an alphabet stamp set...I think I will use corks or something else
- I muuust finish my scrap book from my senior year.  It has been two almost 2 yrs...I think I just don't want to think it ended :) oh well
- I must also reorder my scrapbook paper and reorganize my art studio.

Christmas Crafting

Well Christmas is over for 2007, and I went a "little over board" with the crafting ideas. I planned to make tags to attach to candy canes, make cards, pebble magnets, decoupaged boxes/ frames, tree ornaments, jewelry, etched mirror, a painting, a journal and paper to go in it. Making the paper was an interesting process...

-Frame, tub, and sponge-

- The Blender I finally used since the two older ones began to smoke!-

-My makeshift clothes line for paper drying-

-The finished product-

Of course, this all was made for the journal I made for my cousin...

Along with the journal, I made a few very cute 'magnet pebbles' as I like to call them...

So....I made the mistake of going to Joann Fabric's TWICE this month and finally broke down and got the Ultimate Christmas Stack
for my card making.  Along with this, I made quite the mess in my living room...

Even though I made quite a mess, I think it all felt worth it when I was able to wrap them all up to give out...

Well I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season...I am looking forward to a new year and many new possibilities! :)
